NTSFF - Nanotech acquires patent portfolio from Adigy Canada

Nanotech Security (NTSFF) acquired a six patent portfolio from Adigy Canada, controlled by Dr. Bozena Kaminska a director and shareholder of Nanotech, three each in Canada and U.S. related to innovative methods for creating customized optical devices.Nanotech paid $100K cash to acquire the patents and agreed to share 10% of any revenues from a specific customer developed in the next two years with ongoing royalties of 3 to 6 on other revenues derived from the patents for a period of five years.The intellectual property enables the efficient production of an optical device by prefabricating a foil substrate with nanostructures and using printers or lasers to selectively cover the nanostructures not desired to efficiently print optical devices.With the acquisition, patent portfolio stands at 46 patents which enable to protect the company's KolourOptik technology platform.
