NDAQ - Nasdaq set to raise $4.25B through dollar-bond sale to fund Adenza deal - report

- Nasdaq ( NASDAQ: NDAQ ) is set to sell $4.25B of bonds to help pay the cash portion of it s $10.5B Adenza acquisition , according to a media report.
- The dollar bond portion of its debt sale is in five parts: $500M two-year fixed rate, $1.0B five-year fixed, $1.25B 10-year fixed; $750M 30-year fixed and $750M 40-year fixed, Bloomberg reported.
- Along with an offering by BBVA Mexico, $5.25B of notes were set on Thursday, bringing the month-to-date total of bond issuances to $76.75B, according to Bloomberg.
- Earlier, Nasdaq raised €750M through a bond offering.
- The company announced the proposed senior notes offerings on Tuesday.
