Mr. Gilmour's professional career began in sales and marketing withinternationally recognized brands such as; Libby's (Libby, McNeil andLibby); Playtex Corp.; and Black and Decker. Larry has also owned andoperated chain grocer y outletsincluding owner / operator of a Super Valu grocery store in Vancouver,BC for over five-years. He has a successful track record takingbusinesses with existing consumer bases and growing that business.Larry joined Independent Pharmacist Inc. where he leveraged his sales,marketing and management skills to drive membership significantly,increasing sales 10-fold from $2M CDN to $22M over a span of fouryears. When the business was sold Larry turned to building anotherbusiness, Vancouver Wholesale Drugs in which he was a partner andGeneral Manager overseeing a sales increase from $5M to $70M in justsix years. Larry then returned to the grocery world purchasing an IGAgrocery store in Vancouver, BC that he operated for over eight years.More recently Larry has been advising small to medium business ownersin infrastructure, financing, sales and marketing.
