NCR - NCR evaluating potential sale of its digital banking business - report

- NCR Corp. ( NYSE: NCR ) is looking at a potential sale of its digital business that could fetch more than $2 billion.
- The company has had discussions with its financial advisers about a potential sales process for its digital banking unit, according to a Reuters report earlier Tuesday, which cited people familiar with the matter.
- NCR announced in September that it ended a process to sell itself and decided to split into two companies. NCR's ( NCR ) board approved a plan to separate NCR into two independent, publicly traded companies – one focused on digital commerce, the other on ATMs.
- NCR has said they are open to selling parts of the business prior to the split, according to Reuters.
