KKR - Nestle is said in talks to buy maker of Nature's Bounty vitamins - report

Nestle (NSRGY) is said to be in talks to buy the parent of Nature's Vitamins for a price in the "mid-single-digit" billions.Nestle may finalize an agreement with Bountiful Co. (BTFL) as soon as next week, according to a DJ report. Bounty is majority-owned by PE firm KKR (KKR).The news comes after a regulatory filing last week showed that The Bountiful Co. (parent firm of brands such as Nature’s Promise, Nature’s Bounty, Solgar, Osteo and Puritan’s Prid), has filed for an IPO to raise $100M, although that’s likely just a placeholder value.Previous reports have indicated that the company could be worth some $6B.
