CZR - Nevada casinos see sequential improvement with 22% drop in August gaming win
Nevada gaming win fell 22.1% in August to $743M, according to the monthly report from the gaming board. The mark was a slight improvement from the 26.2% decline recorded in July. Las Vegas Strip gaming win was down 39.2% to $317.3M, while downtown Las Vegas casinos saw a 21.5% drop to $35.6M during the month. Gaming win was up 29.6% for the Boulder Strip to $70.9M. Notably, baccarat gaming was down 53% in August, while slot machine gaming win was only off 14.7%.
