LVMHF - Nike Beyond Meat and Ulta Beauty some of the brand winners with teens
There are plenty of interesting revelations in Piper Sandler's Fall 2020 Taking Stock With Teens survey put together by analyst Erinn Murphy, Nicole Miller Regan and team. Nike (NKE) was the favorite apparel brand listed by teenagers for the 10th year in a row. The swoosh was followed by American Eagle Outfitters (AEO), Adidas (ADDYY) and Pacsun. Nike was also the top footwear brand, followed by Vans (VFC), Adidas and Converse. Of note, jeans as a category made a big jump from last spring and a year ago in the minds of teenagers in what could be a positive sign for Levi Strauss (LEVI). On the negative side, Under Armour (UAA) was the top response when male teenagers were asked what brands do they no longer wear. Netflix (NFLX) and YouTube (GOOG) extended their dominance in video consumption, landing 34% and 32% of all viewing. In the favorite watch category, Apple
