SNY - Nintendo sees continued strength in Switch as Xbox and PlayStation remain in short supply
Nintendo (OTCPK:NTDOY) continues to have the best selling game consoles, with the Switch family selling just over 1.1 million consoles in November, NPD Group said on Monday. In total, Nintendo (OTCPK:NTDOY) sold more than 1.13 million units last month, aided in part by strong software sales such as Nintendo's "Metroid: Dread," which is in its second month of release. Nintendo's (OTCPK:NTDOY) Switch consoles have been the best-selling consoles for the past 35 of 36 months and November continued to see strength, especially in the week of Black Friday and Thanksgiving, as more than 550,000 units were sold. “With a wide-ranging library of games and three options to choose from between Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite and Nintendo Switch – OLED Model, the Nintendo Switch family of systems offers something for everyone this holiday season,” said Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser in a statement.
