SDRLF - Noble Corp. is said to submit bid to purchase portion of Seadrill's assets

Noble Corp. (NE) is said to have submitted an offer to purchase a big portion of Seadrill Ltd.'s (SDRLF) assets, according to a Reorg report, which cited sources.Seadrill debtors haven't been able to come to an agreement with one of the two significant lender constituencies on a debt restructuring.Noble exited bankruptcy protection February and in late March agreed to acquire Pacific Drilling (PACD) in an all-stock transaction. In early April, Seadrill reportedly asked creditors to write off $4.8B of debt. In February, Seadrill filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, second time in four years.
