OMVJF - Nord Stream 2 says Russian pipe-laying vessel starts work in Danish zone

Russian pipe-laying vessel Fortuna has started working at the Nord Stream 2 construction site in Danish waters, defying new U.S. sanctions, according to the consortium developing the project.The statement comes just days after the U.S. State Department placed sanctions on the Fortuna and its assumed owner, and European Union lawmakers passed a resolution calling to stop  completion of the Nord Stream 2 in response to the arrest of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny.Construction resumed in December at Germany's exclusive economic zone, where the Fortuna built 2.6 km of the pipeline.Nord Stream 2 is led by Russian state energy company Gazprom (OGZPY) and European partners Royal Dutch Shell ([[RDS.A]], [[RDS.B]]), BASF's (BASFY) Wintershall, Uniper (UNPPY), OMV (OMVJF) and Engie (ENGIY).The move comes even as Zurich Insurance terminated all of its coverages affected by the sanctions and engineering firm Bilfinger is said to have cut ties with the project; more than 90% of
