NUS - Nu Skin's Gr?v Technologies enters into definitive deal with Superior Farms
Agtech and indoor farming company Gr?v Technologies, wholly-owned by Nu Skin Enterprises (NUS), has entered into a definitive agreement with lamb processor and marketer Superior Farms for the purchase of ten Olympus Tower Farms.The ten Olympus Tower Farms will produce fresh year-round feed for Superior's upcoming venture, Sheep Discovery Center in Central Utah. The Sheep Discovery Center aims to demonstrate how sustainably focused science and technology can help farmers increase their flocks and consistently produce high quality lamb.The Olympus Tower Farms will produce 60,000 pounds of Gr?v's fresh High-Density Nutrient ((HDN)) Superfeed wheatgrass a day, while using less than 5% of the water required for field-grown fodder. No pesticides or herbicides will be used during production.The deal is part of Superior Farms' efforts to significantly improve the sustainability and growth of U.S. lamb production.
