BXMX - Nuveen S&P 500 Buy-Write Income: The Good And The Bad
This is my fifth article on buy-write funds published over the past month alone. I have become much more interested in this investment strategy as of late because of what appears to be a more cautious, risk-off attitude in the markets. Betting on asset price appreciation, at least in the short-to-mid term, seems a bit of a speculative approach to investing amid the current turmoil in stocks.
Today, I look a bit closer at Nuveen S&P 500 Buy-Write Income Fund (BXMX), a CEF (close-ended fund) that has just recently crossed my radar.
