NUW - NXP: Nuveen Select Tax-Free Income Portfolio Provides Leverage-Free Municipal Bond Exposure

• Most CEFs use leverage to increase yields.  Added risk comes with that strategy.
• Nuveen offers six Municipal CEFs across several Muni sectors that invest without leverage.  I will briefly compare NXP against these and four leveraged CEFs in terms of risk and return.
• Municipal Bond CEFs come in many flavors.  Many of those have been covered recently on SeekingAlpha.  A brief description of each and article link will be provided.
• While I like the lower risk from not employing leverage, I am Neutral on NXP currently due to it selling at one its higher Price-to-NAV ratios.  A better choice is suggested.
