Oatly (NASDAQ:OTLY) said Thursday it added electric powered, heavy-duty trucks to its ground transportation in North America. OTLY will include an initial fleet of 5 electric trucks in the U.S. The firm will use this fleet from its factories in Ogden, Utah and Millville, New Jersey. OTLY also uses electric trucks in its transportation operations in Europe. The company aims to shift to 100% sustainable ground transport for its products and materials by 2029.
