ORI - Old Republic names deputy CFO to succeed current CFO

Old Republic International ([[ORI]] +0.4%) names Frank Sodaro, ORI's current deputy chief financial officer, to succeed Karl Mueller as chief financial officer when he retires at the end of June.Mueller retires after a 40-year career, with the last 17 years at ORI.Sodaro becomes CFO on July 1 and will join the company's office of the CEO at the same time.Chris Lieser will be deputy CFO, adding to his continued role as CFO of Old Republic's Title Insurance business.Last month, Owl Creek Asset Management, an ORI shareholder, urged the company to review options for its title insurance business and to start a share repurchase program.
