YGRN - OPEC+ adopt a hands-on approach to the oil market
"We are meeting monthly because we believe that the market is still not recovered and is still extremely volatile," Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters after talks in Riyadh. "We need to adopt a hands-on approach and be able to react faster."The accelerated schedule of monthly meetings means policymakers in oil-producing countries will drive the market in the coming months, not speculators, added Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman. "We are on the same page in our commitment."OPEC+ previously met twice a year and recently compromised on output hike after experiencing a difficult round of talks in early December. The group's latest decision was to limit production rises to 500,000 barrels per day starting next year. The next meeting is on Jan. 4.ETFs: [[USO]], [[UCO]], [[BNO]], [[SCO]], [[USL]], [[DBO]], [[USOI]], [[NRGU]], [[OILK]], [[OLEM]], [[NRGD]], [[USAI]], [[NRGO]], [[NRGZ]], [[YGRN]]
