ORBC - Orbcomm shares surge after positive CNBC mention

Orbcomm (ORBC) shares are in the green after a positive mention on CNBC's Halftime Report show, which features panelist Jim Lebenthal.Lebenthal, also the chief equity strategist at Cerity Partners, previously tweeted about his Orbcomm holding.Responding to a person asking for his current view on the stock Lebenthal tweeted: "Stay with it. I haven’t sold a share. Machine telemetry is in high demand. Just think about the need for cold supply chain monitoring, be it for medicine, food, or other perishables. That’s only one of many applications. This is a multi-year hold."Orbcomm shares are currently up 6.7% to $7.36 after popping as high as 16%, the highest level since July 2019.
