IX - ORIX subsidiary to make a mark with largest eVTOL aircraft order

International aircraft leasing company, Avolon, 30% owned by ORIX Aviation Systems, a subsidiary of ORIX (IX) and Vertical Aerospace, an advanced electric vertical take-off and landing company in the world, announce a ground-breaking $2B order for up to 500 electric eVTOL aircraft. With this agreement, Avolon-e becomes a launch customer for Vertical’s VA-X4 eVTOL, that will revolutionise air travel with zero emissions."This order reaffirms Avolon’s position as an industry pioneer.
