PNTG - Pennant acquires Nevada Hospice agency

Adding to its growing presence in Southern Nevada, The Pennant Group (PNTG) acquired Harmony Hospice of Las Vegas, Nevada, effective October 1, 2020.Post this transaction, JHarmony was one of three affiliated hospice agencies, the other two of which— Prime Hospice in Phoenix, Arizona and Harmony Hospice of Arizona in Kingman, Arizona - Pennant acquired earlier 2020.Pennant also closed on its earlier announced home health JV with California-based Scripps Health, nonprofit integrated health system.JV combines Scripps’s home health business and a local Pennant-affiliated home health agency which will be majority-owned and managed by a Pennant subsidiary; it will provide home health services to patients across San Diego County under the name Seasport Scripps Home Health.The company will continue to pursue acquisition opportunities across U.S.
