PETQ - Petco Health & Wellness soars in IPO debut

Petco Health & Wellness (WOOF) opens at $26 per share after the company's $864M IPO was priced at $18 per share. The company comes to the market with its 1.5K stores and growing veterinary hospital business giving it a brick-and-mortar edge over Chewy (CHWY). PetIQ ([[PETQ]] +2.2%) and Barkbox owner Northern Star Acquisition ([[STIC]] +3.5%) are also in the mix of scrapping for pet spending. Looking ahead, there could be plenty of room for all the companies to grow with pet ownership soaring over the last year.
