PLG - Platinum Group Metals appoints Hallam as permanent President CEO

Platinum Group Metals (NYSE:PLG) says interim President and CEO Frank Hallam will assume the positions on a permanent basis effective immediately. Hallam, a director and former CFO of the company, assumed the roles when Michael Jones departed in July. Hallam joined Platinum Group in 2002 and co-founded one of the company's two predecessor corporations in 1983; he also was a co-founder of MAG Silver and West Timmins Mining. Platinum Group Metals recently reported a full-year GAAP loss of $0.18/share.
