MYPS - PLAYSTUDIOS acquires casual games publisher Brainium

• Gaming company PLAYSTUDIOS ( NASDAQ: MYPS ) has acquired casual games publisher Brainium.
• The total consideration is $70M in upfront cash and a contingent consideration tied to the latter's performance during the period from the closing of the acquisition through Dec. 31.
• The acquisition of Brainium is accretive to PLAYSTUDIOS' earnings, more than doubles the company's average daily active users, expands the portfolio of games in new genres, diversifies revenue streams and advances the playAWARDS platform position.
