PS - Pluralsight stock stops trading after Vista Equity acquisition closes
Vista Equity Partners has successfully completed its acquisition of Pluralsight (PS) for $22.50 per share in cash. With the completion of the go-private deal, Pluralsight shares have stopped trading on any public markets.Last December, Pluralsight agreed to be acquired by Vista Equity in a $3.5B deal. Two months later, proxy advisor ISS advised PS holders to vote against the deal partly due to the uncompelling valuation.Some Pluralsight holders publicly pushed back, saying they would not vote for the deal.Last month, Vista Equity increased its offer from the original $20.26 per share to the current $22.50 per share. At least one investor, Eminence Capital (4.84% stake), remained unimpressed with the raised offer.
