FTLF - PMD® Sports Issues Voluntary Recall Due to Possible Undeclared Wheat Allergen in Unflavored CG5® Powder

PMD® is voluntarily recalling one lot of its PMD® CG5® Creatine + Glutamine Unflavored powder (“CG5”) because its ingredients may include undeclared wheat, a potential allergen. The recall was initiated after routine manufacturer testing discovered a trace amount of gluten in one lot, slightly higher than the gluten-free standard. The company has already determined the cause and has worked to eliminate the issue. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been associated with this product to date.

Only PMD CG5® product in jars stamped with UPC code 811020910633 and Lot coded A0319 and marked Exp Date: 02/2021 are affected by the recall.

No other PMD products are affected by the recall. PMD is taking precautionary steps, including removing all potentially impacted products from retail store shelves and the entire distribution system.
