SSD - Pool moves to S&P 500; CFFN +9.6% AGO +8.3% NR +3.4% on index moves
Pool (POOL) is headed to the S&P 500 Index, set to replace E-Trade Financial (ETFC). Pool is currently part of the MidCap 400, and it's moving up as E-Trade is set to be acquired by Morgan Stanley. Replacing Pool in the MidCap 400 is Neogen (NEOG), and replacing Neogen in the SmallCap 600 is Capitol Federal Financial (CFFN) - which is up 9.6% on that news. Elsewhere in index shuffles, Simpson Manufacturing (SSD) is moving into the MidCap 400 to replace Delphi Technologies (DLPH), which is set to be acquired by BorgWarner. Replacing Simpson in the SmallCap 600 is Assured Guaranty (AGO), which is jumping 8.3% postmarket. And Renasant (RNST) is taking the place of Newpark Resources (NR) in the SmallCap 600, as Newpark is no longer representative of the small-cap market space. [[NR]] is up 3.4% postmarket.
