PVG - Pretium Resources: A Welcome And Overdue Beat On Guidance

• Pretium Resources released its preliminary Q4 results this week and reported quarterly production of 88,300~ ounces, helping the company to beat its FY2020 guidance.
• Meanwhile, the company's balance sheet has improved immensely this year, with a discretionary debt payment of $160 million pushing long-term debt below $225~ million.
• Given Pretium's improving balance sheet and quarterly results that are becoming much less volatile under new CEO Jacques Perron, I continue to see the stock as attractive at current levels.
• While I believe there is better value out there in the sector currently, I see the stock as a Speculative Buy below $11.00.
