PSMT - PriceSmart CEO Sherry Bahrambeygui to step down
PriceSmart Inc.
PriceSmart ( NASDAQ: PSMT ) said Friday its CEO Sherry Bahrambeygui will resign, effective February 3, to pursue professional and philanthropic interests.
The company named Robert Price, founder and chairman, as interim CEO.
John Hildebrandt, EVPand COO, has been promoted to president and COO.
Bahrambeygui will continue to serve as a member of the board. She will be available at PriceSmart's ( PSMT ) request for up to 100 hours of transition support during the 12 months after her resignation.
