PYX Resources Ltd (LSE:PYX, NSX:PYX) chiefexecutive Oliver Hasler speaks to Proactive's Thomas Warner aftera busy period for the world's third-largest publicly traded zirconproducer.
Hasler highlights thegrowth in 33% increase in production and a 34% rise in sales that werethe headline figures in PYX's recently-released H1 operationalupdate. He says that the growth reported was in line with thecompany's strategy of pushing towards a five-year goal ofproducing 48,000 tonnes of premium zircon.
He also addresses the recent granting of export licenses byIndonesian authorities for rutile and ilmenite, a potentiallylucrative sideline for the business. With over 8,000 tonnesstockpiled, these exports promise substantial profit margins, boostingthe company's financial standing.
