QSI - Quantum-SI hot streak continues for a third day as shares up 25%

Quantum-SI (QSI +25.6%), which has been on a roll since Friday, is up significantly today. Since the close of trading last Thursday through trading late this morning, shares are up ~34%. The reason for the boost is not exactly clear. Yesterday, Quantum-SI joined the Nasdaq Biotechnology Index. The company offers a proprietary semiconductor chip used for single-molecule protein sequencing and genomics, as well as proteomic research to support the discovery of new drugs. Quantum-SI "is accelerating the development of applications to address critical unmet needs across key market segments including fundamental biological discovery and research, clinical and therapeutic biomarker development, and broadening single molecule sequencing for multi-omic approaches," the company says.
