R. R. Donnelley & Sons (NYSE:RRD) shares fell 1.1% in aftermarket trade after it disclosed a recent systems intrusion in its technical environment. The firm promptly implemented containment measures, including activating its incident response protocols, shutting down its servers and systems, and starting a forensic probe. RRD has engaged a cybersecurity expert and is also working with law enforcement authorities. As a precautionary measure, the firm isolated a portion of its technical environment to contain the intrusion. RRD said it was not aware of any compromise of client data and the extent of the material adverse impact is not yet known.
