RADI - Radius Global Infrastructure jumps on report EQT near deal

• Radius Global Infrastructure ( NASDAQ: RADI ) soared 18% on a report that investor group led by EQT AB is close to an agreement to  buy the lessor of cell sites to wireless-tower operators.
• The investment firm may announced a deal to purchase Radius ( RADI ) as soon as this week, according to traders, who cited a Bloomberg report. No final decision has been made and timing may change.
• The latest report comes after Dealreporter last month said Radius ( RADI ) talks with EQT Infrastructure and PSP Investments were continuing on a potential takeover. Last year several bidders withdrew from the sales process and a .pension fund walked away from the sale in December.
• Bloomberg originally reported in November that EQT was in talks to purchase Radius ( RADI ), a lessor of cell sites to wireless-tower operators. Bloomberg first reported in May that Radius Global ( RADI ) was exploring a sale.
