RNGR - Ranger Energy CEO Anderson to depart; Austin becomes interim CEO
grandriver/E+ via Getty Images Ranger Energy Services (RNGR) says CEO Darron Anderson is leaving the company and the board, effective immediately; no reason for the departure is provided. Chairman Bill Austin, a former CFO of Exterran Holdings who has served on Ranger's board since 2017, will serve as interim CEO. Anderson was Ranger's President and CEO from March 2017 after serving seven years as President and CEO of Express Energy Services. Ranger's share price has nearly doubled YTD but has never returned to its ~$14 IPO price in 2017; Kingdom Capital wrote a bullish analysis of the stock as a microcap idea, published earlier this year on Seeking Alpha.
