RDW - Redwire rated Buy in new research coverage at B. Riley

Redwire ( NYSE: RDW ) on Thursday was rated Buy in new research coverage by analysts at B. Riley. They said the space contractor is poised for growth as the commercialization of the solar system broadens into other activities such as building space stations.

“We believe Redwire ( RDW ) is on a shortlist of winners in the new space economy, fueled by a strong portfolio of proprietary products and a healthy $465 million backlog,” Mike Crawford, analyst at B. Riley, said in an April 21 report. “Redwire’s ( RDW ) long-term government contracts across civil and national security space give it the financial wherewithal to withstand near-term commercial space volatility.”

B. Riley set a price target of $5 a share for Redwire ( RDW ), based on an enterprise value of $560 million at the end of 2024 or a pro forma enterprise value-to-sales multiple of two times.
