RDW - Redwire rises on Techshot acquisition

Redwire (NYSE:RDW) has acquired space biotechnology specialist Techshot. The deal is value accretive and will provide a complementary suite of solutions to further advance Redwire's product portfolio. Techshot specializes in space bioprinting and other biotech solutions in microgravity. Its development pipeline includes a new payload for 3D printing metal and electronic components, and devices for manufacturing pharmaceuticals and large quantities of human cells for bioprinting and cell therapies. The acquisition aligns with Redwire's growth strategy to leverage strategic investments to scale in-space manufacturing in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). RDW +2.20% pre-market
