Regulus Therapeutics ( NASDAQ: RGLS ) shares rose 68.84% at $2.33 after it entered into a securities purchase agreement in connection with a private placement to certain institutional investors and other accredited investors.
Under the securities purchase agreement, the investors have agreed to purchase shares of the company's common stock at a purchase price of $1.60 per share.
Upon closing of financing, the company expects to receive $100M in financing.
