RGEN - Repligen inks an agreement to acquire Polymem S.A.

Repligen Corporation (RGEN) agreed to acquire France-based Polymem, an industrial expert in developing and manufacturing hollow fiber membranes and modules.The products of Polymen are used in water treatment, solid/liquid separation, gas separation, liquid/gas transfer, and bioprocessing applications.The commercial terms were not disclosed.Repligen intends to use its cash on hand which totaled approximately $711 million at March 31, 2021.The proposed purchase is expected to close during Q3'21, subject to the necessary closing conditions.
