RESN - Resonant in all-day rally to 25% gain

Resonant (RESN) has steadily built itself to a 25.5% gain today, maintaining a ramp it started about 10 a.m. Volume is about 2.5 times normal. The Austin-based maker of RF front-end communications equipment is still about 56% below its 52-week high from February, when it provided upbeat revenue guidance for fiscal 2021. There's no apparent catalyst for today's move, though shares dipped just a week ago after an earnings report with a slightly worse-than-expected loss. Resonant did say its customers shipped a record 8.6M RF filters designed using its technology for the quarter, and that its patent portfolio grew to more than 330 (more than 175 of which are tied to Resonant's proprietary XBAR and high-frequency technologies). As for sentiment, Wall Street is Very Bullish on the stock, while it has a Quant Rating of Neutral.
