MRAAF - Resonant: Solving A Big 5G Problem

• In order to meet the growing demand for mobile data, carriers need to get their customers onto fatter pipes at higher frequencies. But these new bands come with many challenges.
• On the handset side, these problems are solved with RF filters. But the current generation is inefficient at higher frequencies.
• Resonant has a new filter design and development platform that can support frequencies up to 6 GHz and maybe beyond that. It also streamlines the design process.
• Resonant has an exclusive contract with Murata, the largest manufacturer in this narrow market, and it looks like they are close to shipping. The contract ends March 2022.
