TCEHY - Ride-hail company Didi files for U.S. IPO with SoftBank Uber among backers
Chinese ride-hail company Didi (DIDI) files for an initial public offering and intends to list ADSs on the Nasdaq under the "DIDI" ticker.Principal stockholders include SoftBank ([[SFTBF]],[[SFTBY]]) with a 21.5% stake, Uber (UBER) with 12.8%, and Tencent (TCEHY) with 6.8%.For the year ending December 31, 2021, Didi revenue of RMB141.7 million, down from RMB 154.8M in the prior year as the global pandemic hit ride-hail demand. The net loss increased from RMB9.7M to RMB10.6M during the period.For the three-month period ending on March 31, revenue totaled RMB42.2M compared to RMB20.4M the prior year.
