AGCB - Ride-sharing startup Grab reportedly in talks to go public through a SPAC
Grab Holdings Inc. is in talks with a SPAC associated with Altimeter Capital Management to take Southeast Asian ride-hailing company Grab public in a deal that would value the company at as much as $40b.It wasn't known which Altimeter SPAC vehicle Grab was in discussions with, according to a Bloomberg report. Altimeter has two SPACs. A deal may be concluded in the next few weeks.SPAC Altimeter Growth Corp. (AGC) jumped 11%. Altimeter Growth Corp 2 (AGCB) rose 4.6%.Yesterday, Altimeter's Gerstner says there needs to be a 'massive shakeout' in the SPAC world.
