Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd.
Turquoise Hill Resources ( NYSE: TRQ ) +19.8% pre-market on Wednesday after Rio Tinto ( NYSE: RIO ) submitted an improved takeover proposal that values Turquoise Hill's minority share capital at ~$3.1B.
Under the terms of the improved proposal, Turquoise Hill ( TRQ ) minority shareholders would receive C$40/share in cash.
Rio Tinto ( RIO ) said the new proposal has the same conditions as its initial proposal.
