A number of stocks with a high level of short interesting outstanding on them and elevated interest on Reddit's WallStreetBets and Reddit followed Bed Bath & Beyond lower in early trading on Friday amid some general risk-off trading in the market.

Vinco Ventures ( NASDAQ: BBIG ) -18.15% , Vroom ( VRM ) -10.55% , F45 Training Holdings ( FXLV ) -10.45% , Warby Parker ( WRBY ) -9.44% , Carvana ( CVNA ) -8.50%, Blue Apron ( APRN ) -6.45% , Beyond Meat ( BYND ) -6.44% , and Blink Charging ( BLNK ) -6.33% were some of the notable decliners on strong volume.

GameStop ( GME ) shed 7.20% in a move some traders are attributing to cracks in support from the meme crowd. AMC Entertainment ( AMC ) peeled off 5.85% with the pending bankruptcy of Cineworld a significant sector development.
