RIV - RiverNorth Opportunities Fund readies rights offering

RiverNorth Opportunities Fund's (RIV) board authorized and set the offer terms to rights stockholders for purchasing additional shares in exchange of transferable subscription rights issued to its stockholders of record as of October 2, 2020.Record date stockholders will receive one right for each share held; for every three rights held, a rights holder may buy one new share of the fund.The subscription price per share will be determined based upon a formula equal to 95% of the reported net asset value or 95% of the market price per share, whichever is higher on the Expiration Date (Nov.3, 2020).
