CVX - RSX - The Russia ETF In A Word: Toxic
- In September of last year I warned Seeking Alpha investors about the dangers of investing in Russia. The RSX ETF is down 81% since that article was published.
- Considering the war in Ukraine and the resulting sanctions on Russia by the US and its Democratic and NATO allies, holdings in the RSX ETF are toxic.
- Meantime, there appears to be no-end to the conflict in Ukraine, and even if there is, the world will never forget the atrocities committed by Putin and his war machine.
- In March, trading in the RSX ETF was halted. That being the case, investors should stay away from the RSX ETF and all Russian assets.
