SANW - S&W Trigall Genetics to breed wheat in Australia through JV

S&W Seed Company ( NASDAQ: SANW ) +2.1% said Tuesday it has formed a joint venture with Trigall Genetics to advance wheat breeding activities in Australia.
Trigall Australia will develop and market high performing wheat varieties for the Australian market and use S&W's existing commercial footprint.
The companies said the new breeding program will encompass both conventional and transgenic varieties.
