Salesforce's (CRM) planned purchase of Slack (WORK) appears to not raise "serious substantive" concerns that may require a remedy, United First Partners writes after the companies announced yesterday that they received a "second request" from the Justice Dept.Salesforce and Slack look prepared to take an "aggressive" approach to getting antitrust approval whereby they put the DOJ "on the clock" by quickly certifying compliance with the second request, according to UFP legal analyst Anna Pavlik.The reason for the "second request" is likely more of a function that the DOJ's reviewing staff isn't willing to make a quick approval in a "tech" deal.
