SDVKY - Sandvik nabs record SEK 300M order for battery-electric mining equipment

  • Sandvik ( OTCPK:SDVKY ) received a order for supplying a fleet of battery-electric trucks, loaders, drills and on-site service support for Foran Mining's ( OTCQX:FMCXF ) McIlvenna Bay project in Saskatchewan, Canada, world's first carbon neutral copper development project.
  • The order which is worth SEK 330M is considered as the company's largest to date for battery-electric equipment, and will be booked in Q3.
  • Under the order, the company will supply a fleet of 20 battery-electric vehicles as well as Battery as a Service; delivery of equipment is scheduled to take place during 2023-2025.
