SEE - Sealed Air completes sale of Reflectix business

Sealed Air (SEE +1.3%) completed the sale of its Reflectix business to an affiliate of Balcan Innovations. Reflectix’s products are distributed in North America through more than 3,500 dealers, distributors and retail locations. The transaction includes Reflectix manufacturing facilities in Markleville, Indiana, where they employ ~80 people. Sealed Air said the divestiture of Reflectix is part of the company’s strategic realignment of its business portfolio.
