Cybersecurity company SentinelOne (S) filed for an initial public offering last week, aiming to list on the NYSE under the "S" ticker and raise up to $100M, though that's likely a placeholder figure.The company offers an AI-powered extended detection and response platform that fully automates cybersecurity defenses. The strength of the platform was proven late last year when SentinelOne clients were protected from the Russia-linked breach of IT software from SolarWinds.In the S-1, SentinelOne lists the following among its key competitors: CrowdStrike (CRWD), VMware (VMW), McAfee (MCFE), Broadcom's (AVGO) Symantec, and Palo Alto Networks (PANW).The number of shares included in the IPO and the share price haven't been determined.
