  • Seritage Growth Properties ( NYSE: SRG ) said Tuesday it made a voluntary prepayment of $200M toward its $1.6B term loan facility provided by Berkshire Hathaway Life Insurance.
  • With this, the REIT has repaid $1B since December 2021 and $600M of the term loan facility is outstanding.
  • The latest prepayment will reduce Seritage's ( SRG ) total annual interest expense related to the loan facility by ~$14M.
  • The repayments since December 2021 reduced Seritage's ( SRG ) total annual interest expense related to the loan facility by ~$70M.
  • Earlier, Seritage Growth ( SRG ) reported Q1 results.
